The WA Drift racing series is held primarily at Barbagallo Raceway in Perth.
Competition drifting is judged on angle, speed and lines taken through specific corners of the track. Drivers race in pairs during each round with drivers getting a pass leading and a pass following. Points are awarded for each pass, tallied and the the winner progresses to the next round.
Drifting is a sport that requires a lot of skill to maintain the extreme angles and transitions between corners. Below is a gallery highlighting the skills of the many drivers here in Western Australia.
