Round 3 of the ADGP came to Perth on the 18th and 19th of November bringing with it some awesome Eastern States talent. The local drivers didn’t disappoint with some awesome drives and everyone giving their all.

I attended the Saturday session as a spectator and what a turnout it was. The promoters and organisers did a great job of keeping the crowds entertained, mixing FMX stunt shows in with the drift rounds and Time Attack racing.

Keeping the drifting to the top of the track made for closer, more exciting racing as it meant the racing became more about driver skill rather than a battle of horsepower.

I take my hat off to the promoters and organisers for bringing a National round to Perth. Hopefully there is enough interest within the Australian drifting community to ensure another series happens next year. This is brilliant for the sport locally as it gives drivers and sponsors some great exposure on a national level.

Congratulations go to Luke Fink for the win, Danny Vahoumis for 2nd place and Karl Nuske for 3rd.

Round 6 and the final round of the 2010/2011 PSS TV WA Drift Series was run on Sunday 17th April with a huge turnout of cars, driver and spectators.
The driving talent on show was brilliant with everyone stepping up and pushing hard, putting on a fantastic smoke show for the crowds.

Although the weather started out wet, the rain held out for the day ensuring that the conditions weren’t all that bad to be taking photos in.

This long weekend I had the opportunity to spend a few hours with a fantastic family expecting their third child.
Lots of fun was had and there was plenty of time to have a few less serious photos taken. The photos came out brilliantly and the family love the shots.

Round 4 of the Drift series was HOT. Not in your Paris Hilton “That’s Hot” kinda way either!!

It was the weather that was incredibly hot however there were still a few brave souls who braved the heat to lay some rubber in the Barbagallo track.

Numbers were down with both competitors and spectators but that didn’t stop those that came from seeing some spectacular, close racing.

The heat however did take its toll with several cars suffering failures in the conditions. Hopefully everyone can get back on track soon.

With fantastic support categories from off road racers, dirt bikes, road bikes of all years, historic racers and todays race cars plus a huge turnout of supercars, there was plenty to see.

Ive decided that instead of going through and rebuilding the BSPhotos website I will bring the bulk of the old site across to here. So over the next few weeks there will be plenty to do!

With some of the finest machines on show both inside and out, visitors were in for a treat. I think you would have been hard pressed to have left the event and not had a good time…. There was even Scaletrix sets for kids (both young and old) to play with!

I thoroughly enjoyed spending a few hours walking the floor and looking at the amazing detail that goes into these cars. Every one of them has a personality of their own.
